Kelly & Dan’s Wedding
The Valley Regency, Clifton, New Jersey

We met Kelly in Bayonne on a crisp Halloween day.  While neighborhood kids were running around outside filling their sacks with candy, Kelly and her girls were running around inside, getting ready.  Hair, makeup, flowers, dresses, shoes…  and a ton of smiles!  We also couldn’t help but smile at the pumpkins carved to represent Kelly, Dan & Bella, adorable!

Soon we were off to St. Vincent’s Church (only a few blocks away) for a full wedding mass.  We loved the look on Dan’s face as he waited for his bride at the altar, and equally emotional was Kelly as she slipped the ring on Dan’s finger.  What a moving ceremony.

From there we headed to Lambert’s Castle for bridal party photos and of course some dusky photos with the new Mr & Mrs.  Then off to our final destination, The Valley Regency in Clifton!

Kelly and Dan really know how to throw a party.  They choose an awesome venue and The Valley Regency delivered an amazing cocktail hour with all sorts of brightly colored foods, ice sculptures and Hors d’oeuvres presented in photographically pleasing arrangements.  But our favorite was the ballroom.  The tall florals and multicolored uplights and gobo were truly rockin. (Shout out to Knight Floral Designs and World of Illumination)!  We loved how they put Halloween candy on each table so the kiddies at the reception could still go trick or treating (cute!).  And who could forget the Simpson’s Cake Topper?  :)

We wish these two lovebirds nothing but the best!

Holiday Gift Ideas & Ordering Information

One of the most treasured, most requested and easiest gifts for the Holidays is the gift of sharing memories!

Parents, grandparents, siblings & close family love receiving photos.  They are proud to have shared in your moment, so consider giving them a joyous/romantic photo of you and your spouse in addition to the more traditional family photos.  Also, don’t underestimate the power of ‘true’ moments.  Mom helping you get dressed, Dad giving you that bear hug or twirling you on the dance floor, Grandma smiling at you…  these are emotional moments that are definitely worth remembering.

Photos also make great bridal party gifts.  You asked these people to stand with you for a reason.  They are your nearest and dearest, so give them a photo to thank them for sharing your joy and helping you make it through your big day.

You can easily gift extended family and friends with photos if you have a nice moment of them posed together, enjoying a spin on the dance floor or congregated together sharing a smile.  The possibilities are endless.  And, they will always remember the special time they had at your wedding when they look at the photo(s).

We are getting a ton of emails regarding deadlines, so we wanted to put out a few key dates:

To receive Your Order by 12/25:

Product Standard Priority Overnight
Final Prints 10-Dec 15-Dec 18-Dec
Photo greeting cards/Fine Art Cards 10-Dec

All orders for prints placed after 12/10 are subject to rush fees if you need them for the holidays.

It’s still not too late to order HOLIDAY CARDS, especially to celebrate the New Year!  These cards are a studio favorite and get rave reviews from our couples.  If you’d like us to retouch an image for your card, please contact us ASAP.

Another popular idea, is to use the site’s BULK PRINT option to order 25 copies of your favorite 4×6, 5×7 or 8×10 to slip in with your holiday or new years cards.  Bulk Prints are more economically priced and available through the website.

We are still accepting album and canvas orders.  Even though we cannot guarantee these products will arrive in time to be placed under your tree, you can always wrap a framed print and tell the recipient that there are more memories to come…

Happy Holidays!

Rebecca & Keith’s Wedding
The Tides Estate, North Haledon, New Jersey

When we met Rebecca the morning of her wedding, the room was abuzz with activity.  Michelle Lo Conte of I Do Hair and Make-Up was working on her hair and Evelyn Abanto of Mac was working on her makeup.  The girls were laughing because Rebecca was being her usual hilarious self!  The joy and ruckus of wedding prep followed us from the hotel all the way over to the Bridal Suite at The Tides where Rebecca put on her dress and finished up her last minute details in order to be picture perfect for her groom.

The day was bright and sunny.  I would say that nobody could possibly have had a bigger smile than Rebecca when she walked down the aisle…  but that was before we saw Keith’s face light up when Mr. Met showed up during the cocktail hour.  (Yay Rebecca for orchestrating an amazing surprise!).  We also loved how Mr. Met signed their signature album - he even signed the ‘right’ page.  I’m so glad that Keith insisted on posing for a few photos during their engagement session wearing a Mets Hat.  He didn’t even realize the foresight!

The reception was decorated in fall colors:  burgundy, burnt oranges, deep yellows…  and we loved the edible cookie favors in the shape of leaves and pumpkins.  The band - Time Machine - kept the party going strong all night.  But our favorite dance floor highlights were Keith’s party hardy grandfather who totally tore it up, the hora because due to the low ceilings only Rebecca really got lifted all the way into the air and some really emotional moments during the parent dances.

Thanks for letting us celebrate with you!
